Born in Kanagawa Prefecture (Japan) in 1993, SUZUKA OHGO made her stage debut at the Meiji-za Theatre in “Kunitori Monogatari” in 2000. Since then, Suzuka has starred in many TV soap operas and films.

In 2005, she appeared in the internationally well-received film, “Memoirs of a Geisha,” directed by Rob Marshall. Her portrayal of the main character, young Chiyo (later known as Sayuri, which adult version played by Zhang Ziyi), was highly acclaimed. With this international silver screen debut, she won “Japan Film Critics Award”(Kazuko Komori Award /The Best Newcomer).

Suzuka is also known for her classical ballet skill, and enjoys Japanese tea ceremony as recreation.
